We have always had a house full of animals.  Cats, Dogs, mice, fish, Birds and more were part of our family over the years.  Currently we have two Dogs, lots of Ragdolls, one older neutered Cat, some fish and Zebra finches.  I have always enjoyed having kittens around our house.  When our children were little we often had a cat with kittens.  In fact once we had three give birth at about the same time and had eighteen kittens at once. As our children are all now adults I thought it was time I had a hobby, so I decided that I wanted to show and breed Cats, but I was not sure which breed.  We were in a pet shop one day and saw a cage of Ragdoll kittens.  It was love at first sight.  I went home and got as much information about the breed that I could find. After reading about them I decided that they were the breed for me.  After contacting many breeders and waiting for just the right kitten to become available we got Sophie.  She is a blue point Ragdoll.  A few months later we got our second cat, Gemma, who is a blue mitted Ragdoll. I am a registered breeder with the GCCFV. That’s how it all started and we are enjoying it very much.
